14 July 2025 – General Macarthur, Eastern Samar – The Eastern Samar National ID Registration Team took part in the Serbisyo Caravan held on July 14, 2025, at Barangay Pingan, General Macarthur. Organized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of General Macarthur, the caravan brought together various national and local government agencies to deliver essential public services to residents of Barangays Pingan, Laurel, and Limbujan. The National ID team focused on providing on-site registration services to help unregistered individuals enroll in the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
Through this initiative, residents were given the opportunity to apply for their National ID, which serves as an official proof of identity and a gateway to accessing various government programs and services. The team’s participation in the caravan highlights the government’s commitment to making essential services more accessible, particularly in remote and low-access areas. The Eastern Samar National ID team remains dedicated to ensuring that every Filipino is included in the national registry for improved service delivery and social protection.
The National ID Team encourages all Filipinos, especially those from remote and underserved areas, to take advantage of similar registration drives. Possession of a national ID empowers individuals and enhances their access to public and private services.
