
Quinapondan, Eastern Samar – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Eastern Samar successfully conducted the Presentation of Preliminary Results for the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Quinapondan. The event was held at the Quinapondan Municipal Hall in the afternoon of 31 July 2025. Quinapondan is the thirteenth municipality in the province to receive its initial results on the 2024 CBMS.
The presentation was led by Information System Analyst II Nory James L. Apura, who discussed statistics on selected key indicators aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These included data on access to basic services such as electricity, clean fuel/technology, toilet facilities, and internet connectivity.
As Quinapondan was one of the sampled municipalities during the 2022 CBMS rollout, a comparative assessment of the 2022 and 2024 data was also presented, highlighting developments and trends in the mentioned indicators. In addition, ISA II Apura briefed attendees on upcoming CBMS-related activities, including the Data Turnover Ceremony and the 2025 CBMS Convention and Data Festival.
