
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Eastern Samar Provincial Office in coordination with the LGU Maydolong successfully facilitated its third Presentation of the 2024 CBMS Preliminary Results held at the Conference Hall of Maydolong, Eastern Samar on the afternoon of the 17 July 2025. The activity aims to present statistics to the Local Government Units on the initial findings based on the 2024 CBMS data and emphasize the vital role of accurate data in achieving evidence-based planning and policymaking.
The event was actively participated by representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Local Civil Registry (LCR) and the Sangguniang Bayan (SB).
Meanwhile, presenters from PSA Eastern Samar consisted of Senior Statistical Specialist and POPCEN-CBMS Focal Person Randy G. Ador, Statistical Analyst Grace Anne L. Sesio and SA-COSW Jethelyn Jo T. Plata. Their report included statistics on selected key indicators and their relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is to provide the LGU with insights and a clearer understanding of the type of data they will receive during the upcoming Data Turnover Ceremony.
Natalie Voloso–Amboy, on behalf of the Municipal Mayor’s Office, expressed during her message the LGU’s strong commitment to supporting this initiative by the PSA, recognizing its value in shaping the municipality’s programs and development plans.
