
San Policarpo, Eastern Samar – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Eastern Samar Provincial Statistical Office recently coordinated with the Local Government Unit of San Policarpo for the presentation of the Preliminary Findings of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).
The event which took place at the Municipal Hall of San Policarpo on 24 July 2025, was conducted to inform the LGU officials and stakeholders about the initial results of the 2024 CBMS data collection. CBMS is designed to gather comprehensive data at the local level to guide the
LGUs in evidence-based policymaking and targeted program implementation.
During the presentation, which was led by PSA representatives Senior Statistical Specialist Randy G. Ador and assisted by Statistical Analyst Jethelyn Jo T. Plata, statistics on key indicators such as access to basic services, education, and health were discussed. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications regarding the data presented, as well as raise other related concerns during the open forum.
San Policarpo is the eighth municipality in the province to receive its preliminary report for the 2024 CBMS. PSA Eastern Samar will continue the rollout of data presentation in the remaining municipalities to ensure that all local government units are equipped with reliable data to support inclusive and data-driven development planning
