
Dolores, Eastern Samar – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Eastern Samar Provincial Statistical Office organized a presentation of the preliminary results of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dolores on 24 July 2025. The activity was held at Dolores Municipal Hall and actively participated by members of various offices such as Municipal Planning and Development Office, Office of the Municipal Assessor, Municipal Social and Welfare Development Office, SK Federation and Rural Health Unit.
The activity aimed to inform LGU officials and stakeholders about the key findings from the CBMS 2024 data collection, which provides vital socioeconomic indicators at the community level. The presentation was led by Senior Statistical Specialist and CBMS Focal Person Randy G. Ador, together with Statistical Analyst Jethelyn Jo T. Plata. They also briefed the participants on the upcoming CBMS activities, particularly the forthcoming Data Turnover Ceremony.
Both PSA and the officials of the LGU are dedicated to this collaborative step especially in ensuring that the final CBMS report will accurately reflect the realities of Dolores, strengthening its role as a reliable basis for informed local governance and development planning.
