
Maslog, Eastern Samar – Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Eastern Samar personnel convened with the officials of LGU Maslog on 23 July 2025 to share the initial findings of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS). The event took place at the Conference Room of the Municipal Hall of Maslog and was participated by representatives of various offices and departments of the said LGU.
Also in attendance during the session was Municipal Mayor Septemio C. Santiago, who delivered the welcome remarks. In his message, he expressed his gratitude to the PSA and all participating offices for taking part in the activity. In addition, he emphasized that the data to be shared would greatly support the LGU in identifying priorities and making informed decisions for the benefit of their constituents.
Thereafter, the presentation of the preliminary results was delivered by Nory James L. Apura, Information System Analyst II and Jethelyn Jo T. Plata, Statistical Analyst. Their report included statistics on key indicators such as access to electricity, clean fuel/technology, toilet facility and internet. Following the presentation, upcoming CBMS activities were discussed, and the importance of sustained partnership with the LGU was emphasized.
To formally close the activity, Municipal Vice Mayor Zacarias Santiago delivered a brief message affirming the commitment of the local government unit of Maslog to fully support the initiatives of the PSA.
