The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Biliran successfully conducted the June 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS). The LFS is a nationwide survey of households conducted by PSA to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. It aims to measure the distribution of household population 15 years old and over by employment status, to determine various employment characteristics such as industry, class of worker, nature of employment and basis of payment. Results of the survey shall serve as basis for planning, formulation of policies, and implementing programs to create gainful employment, and bolster livelihood opportunities for the Filipinos.

The data collection period of the June 2025 LFS started on 08 June and will end on 30 June 2025. A total of three (3) Statistical Researchers (SRs) were trained with needed skills and knowledge for the field data collection during the Provincial Level Training on 05 June at PSA Biliran Training Room.

A total of 96 sample households were systematically and randomly selected for the Province of Biliran. The sample households will be visited and enumerated by the hired SRs during the data collection period. The information collected shall be treated with utmost confidentiality as mandated under Section 26 (Confidentiality of Information) of Republic Act No. 10625.
