23 July 2025 –TACLOBAN CITY – The Philippine Statistics Authority- Regional Statistical Services Office VIII (PSA-RSSO 8) conducted its 2025 Mid-Year Performance Review on July 10–11, 2025, in Hotel Alejandro, Tacloban City. The event will bring together key officials and personnel to foster collaboration and to evaluate the accomplishments of all the programs, projects, and activities, identify areas for improvement for the first half of the year, and align strategies for the remaining months of 2025.

The two-day activity will serve as a platform to assess progress in the implementation of core statistical operations, civil registration services, and administrative targets. It will also focus on addressing challenges encountered during the first semester and formulating responsive action plans.

PSA officials are expected to present the performance updates, share best practices, and discuss innovative approaches to enhance service delivery and statistical operations.

Regional Director Wilma A. Perante stated, "This mid-year review is essential in sustaining PSA’s commitment to deliver quality statistics and effective and efficient civil registration services to the clients and stakeholders. Hosting this event 
underscores our support for inclusive regional engagement and capacity strengthening."

The conduct of the performance review reflects PSA’s ongoing efforts to improve transparency, operational efficiency, and evidence-based decision-making in public service.
