The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Biliran Provincial Statistical Office participated in the Serbisyo Caravan initiated by the Philippine Information Agency – Biliran (PIA Biliran) in partnership with the Biliran Communicators Network (BILCOMNET) held at Brgy. Tabunan Covered Court, Almeria, Biliran on 19 April 2023.

PSA Biliran allocated (two) 2 registration kits manned by three (3) personnel to accommodate unregistered individuals and provide printed ePhilID to registrants who requested for a digital copy of their PhilID. A total of 17 individuals were successfully registered to the system while 12 individuals immediately received their ePhilID.

In addition, Registration Officer I, Virgilio L. Cinco, Jr, provided free consultation on civil registration related problems and distributed PhilSys brochures to the clients. There was also a brief PhilSys orientation among representatives of the different national government agencies present specifically on the acceptance of ePhilID as valid proof of identity and age as well as use of PhilSys Check in verifying the presented PhilID or ePhilId by their respective clients.

A total of 18 national government agencies participated in the whole day public service caravan offering various government programs and services to the residents of Tabunan, Almeria and nearby areas.

The activity aims to respond to the call for a timely, accurate and truthful information drive where residents can personally interact, inquire, and avail of the various government services right in their barangay through the whole-of-nation approach.
