PSA RECOMMENDED FOR CONTINUED MAINTENANCE OF ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) proudly announces that it has been recommended by TÜV NORD Philippines, Inc. for the continued maintenance of its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification, following the successful completion of a rigorous surveillance audit conducted from 21 March to 11 April 2025.

The audit covered selected processes and regional, provincial, and central offices of the PSA and evaluated the agency’s compliance with the internationally recognized quality management standards. This annual surveillance is part of the standard three-year certification cycle, ensuring that organizations maintain the level of quality performance required under ISO 9001:2015.

TÜV NORD’s audit team noted PSA’s strong commitment to the continual improvement of its processes, sustained customer satisfaction, and effective documentation and implementation of its QMS. The auditors commended the agency for its dedication to quality and its active pursuit of innovations in the delivery of statistical and civil registration services.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard sets out the criteria for a quality management system based on a number of principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and engagement of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. Maintaining this certification reflects PSA’s ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

With this milestone, the PSA reinforces its pledge to continuously improve its systems and processes in the interest of better serving the Filipino people. The agency remains focused on its mission to deliver reliable, timely, and relevant statistics and efficient civil registration services that support national development, governance, and evidence-based decision-making.

The PSA extends its appreciation to TÜV NORD Philippines, Inc. for the professional conduct of the surveillance audit and looks forward to sustaining this partnership in pursuit of service excellence.//
