University of Eastern Philippines, Catarman, Northern Samar – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Northern Samar Provincial Statistical Office successfully conducted a three-day activity focused on the acceptance of civil registry documents (CRDs) in security paper (SecPa) and National Identification System Registration from April 21 to 23, 2025, at the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP), Volleyball Court in Catarman, Northern Samar.

The initiative had a total of seventy-four (74) request of civil registry documents for SecPa printing and registration of twenty-seven (27) individuals under the National ID. This activity was conducted to bring essential government services such as national ID and civil registry documents to students and faculty of UEP who have no time to visit the PSA office due to work and class schedule.

The team ensured the smooth and orderly implementation of the activity, with frontline personnel efficiently facilitating transactions and thoroughly verifying documents. Despite the timing of the activity coinciding with the UEP’s implementation of asynchronous classes, the event proceeded as scheduled, with the team demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of clients and registrants.

The PSA appreciates the request of the University and its student council to conduct and support this activity, and to partner with us on this initiative. The office encourages citizens to participate in PSA’s future programs and statistical activities, as these initiatives play a vital role in continued efforts of PSA in ensuring access to social and public services through proper documentation and the timely request and claiming of civil registry documents
