30 October 2024 – SULAT, EASTERN SAMAR – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Eastern Samar is excited to announce the ongoing Rehistro Bulilit Campaign, which has recently expanded its services to the municipalities of Llorente, San Policarpo, and Guiuan, culminating today in the Covered Court of Barangay San Vicente, Sulat.
This initiative is part of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) and aims to register unregistered children aged 1 to 4 years old. The campaign plays a crucial role in the PSA’s goal of registering 92 million Filipinos with the PhilSys by the end of December.
The registration process is designed to be quick, simple, and child-friendly. It involves capturing the child's demographic details, taking a front-facing photograph, and linking the child’s PhilSys Card Number (PCN) to their legal guardian for authentication. This ensures a seamless experience for both children and their guardians.
During today’s launch, the team successfully registered 50 individuals, including 23 children aged 1-4 years old.
To inform parents and guardians about the importance of PhilSys National ID registration, an informative session was held prior to the registration process, outlining the requirements and benefits of the program.
The PhilSys Rehistro Bulilit Campaign will continue to expand its reach across other municipalities in Eastern Samar, ensuring that the National ID is accessible and inclusive for all Filipinos.
For more information about the National ID System, please visit the official PSA website www.psa.gov.ph.
