16 December 2024 - The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office VIII (RSSO 8) is proud to announce that of the total regional target of 4,151,168 individuals, there were already 4,164,406 registered to the National ID, accomplishing 100.3% of its target in Eastern Visayas.

Based on the latest official data released, as of 31 October 2024, four provinces namely, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar and Biliran all reached and exceeded their targets while Southern Leyte and Eastern Samar are 3% away from their respective targets and various initiatives to saturate possible registrants one year old and above.

The PSA continues its efforts in registering more populace to contribute to the attainment of the 92 million National Target by the end of 2024.
