The Philippine Statistics Authority Eastern Samar Provincial Office is in need of Field Personnel under Contract of Service Worker (COSW) for the conduct of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS Nationwide Roll-out in the 23 municipalities of the province.

POSITION and QUALIFICATIONS:

1. CBMS Area Supervisor (CAS)
   a. Preferably college graduate;
   b. Preferably with experience and training in census/survey undertakings of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA);
   c. Preferably with supervisory experience in census/survey or similar
   operations;
   d. Preferably a resident of the barangay or city/municipality;
   e. Leadership potential;
   f. Alertness and interest;
   g. With good written and oral communication skills; and
   h. With enough familiarity of place of assignment and able to speak the local dialect.
2. CBMS Enumerator
   a. Preferably a college graduate, or at least SHS graduate or has completed at least 2nd year college (old curriculum) – for a SHS graduate below 17 years old, parental consent is required;
   b. Preferably a resident of the barangay or city/municipality;
   c. Preferably with experience and training in census/survey undertakings of
   the PSA;
   d. Physically fit for field work (if female, must not be pregnant);
   e. Knowledgeable in operating android devices (tablets);
   f. Able to speak the local dialect;
   g. With good moral character;
   h. With ability to deal with the public tactfully;
   i. Willing to work on weekends, holidays and beyond 5:00 p.m., if necessary; 
   j. With no existing work contract with other offices/agencies; and 
   k. Not related up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or affinity of the appointing/recommending officers or direct/immediate supervisors
