The Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) conducted a two-day session on program updates for DOH Human Resources for Health (HRH) on 07–08 May 2025 at V-Centrale, Brgy. JP Rizal, Catarman. The event was attended by health workforce across the province of Northern Samar.

To reach a wider audience, particularly personnel from offices considered as relying parties, the National ID team conducted an information awareness session for participants on 07 May 2025. Information Officer I Nikka P. Pajarito presented the features, benefits, and importance of the National ID system. Meanwhile, Registration Officer II Lany Lyn Magdaraog discussed and explained the Commonly Asked Questions (CAQs) about the National ID to further clarify concerns and misconceptions.

Several participants raised queries regarding the replacement of damaged or peeled-off IDs, procedures for updating cardholder information, and the current status of National ID printing. These concerns were thoroughly addressed by National ID Provincial Focal Person/RO II Magdaraog, ensuring that participants were well-informed about the process and timelines.

The discussion also emphasized the acceptability and validity of the National ID in all its formats, physical card, ePhilID, and digital version, based on the latest advisories and issuances from the PSA. Additionally, a registration kit for the National ID was set up outside the venue to accommodate interested registrants and those who have concerns on national ID.

Before concluding the discussion, the PSA National ID team expressed their appreciation for the support and positive response extended by Dr. Rommel Francisco, and his staff for allowing the National ID information awareness session be included in the HRH program updates.

The collaboration not only facilitated greater reach among healthcare personnel but also demonstrated the shared commitment of government agencies in promoting efficient public service delivery through the use of the National ID system.
