The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Southern Leyte expressed its gratitude to the Provincial Health Services Office (PHSO) for the provision of Influenza vaccines to its employees as well as their families and relatives.
The activity was led by Dr. Jean Marie R. Uy, Public Health Officer I, along with her dedicated team: Nurse Alma Cecilia R. Malazarte, National Immunization Program Coordinator; Nurses Adame Joseph G. Orito and Joyce L. Prima; Health Education and Promotion Officer Melross O. Dublan; and Transport Officer Rhudson Ramayla. The team visited PSA Southern Leyte Office to administer the Influenza vaccines and promote awareness about the importance of immunization.
The event underscored PHSO’s commitment to safeguarding public health by ensuring access to essential vaccines. By extending the vaccination drive to the families and relatives of PSA employees, the initiative further emphasized the importance of community-wide protection against Influenza.
PSA Southern Leyte extended its heartfelt appreciation to PHSO team for their dedication and efforts in promoting health and wellness among its personnel and their loved ones. This collaboration highlighted the significance of inter-agency efforts in achieving a healthier and more resilient community.
