The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Southern Leyte is currently conducting the January 2025 round of the quarterly Labor Force Survey (LFS) from January 10 to 24, 2025. This nationwide survey aims to gather data on the current employment situation in the country, providing valuable insights into labor market trends and economic conditions. For this round of the LFS, seven (7) Statistical Researchers (SR) have been deployed across 14 municipalities in Southern Leyte to collect data from a total of 385 sample households. The municipalities covered include Saint Bernard, Hinunangan, Libagon, City of Maasin, Liloan, Silago, Sogod, San Juan, Pintuyan, Malitbog, Hinundayan, Macrohon, and San Francisco. These areas have been carefully selected to ensure representative data collection across the province.
The PSA urges all selected households to cooperate with the authorized statistical researchers, who will be conducting interviews and gathering essential information. The collected data will be used for program development and monitoring labor market conditions in the province.
The agency assures respondents that all data collected will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for statistical purposes.
