Provincial Level Training on July 2025 LFS and the 2025 FIES Visit 1 from 30 June to 06 July 2025

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Samar is conducting the Provincial Level Training on July 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and the 2025 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) Visit 1 from 30 June to 06 July 2025 at M Grand Royale Resort, Catbalogan City.

The seven-day training prepares Statistical Researchers and PSA personnel for the conduct of the July 2025 LFS and FIES Visit 1, which will be undertaken simultaneously from 08 to 31 July 2025. The training covers survey concepts, procedures, field protocols, and the use of data collection tools to ensure accuracy and consistency during enumeration.

The LFS generates high-frequency data on employment and the labor market to support government planning, policy formulation, and program implementation. Meanwhile, the FIES collects comprehensive data on family income and expenditure, providing insights into income distribution and inequality. The 2025 FIES Visit 1 will gather data for the first semester of 2025.
