The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Northern Samar continues its efforts to promote and coordinate the adoption of National ID authentication services across government and non-government offices. On May 16, 2025, two (2) coordination meetings were successfully conducted to further streamline processes and enhance service delivery through the use of the national ID system.

The first meeting was conducted by Registration Officer II Lany Lyn Magdaraog and Information Officer I Nikka Pajarito with Officer-In-Charge (OIC) District Chief of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Mr. Guy Ellison T. Zosa. During the meeting, a presentation on the features and advantages of the National ID authentication services was carried. OIC Zosa expressed positive support for the initiative, recognizing its potential to simplify and secure identity verification processes within the LTO. However, he noted that formal implementation would require coordination and endorsement to their Regional Office for final approval.

In the same day, a separate meeting was held with IT Officer II Rhanwel Lao of the Management Information System Office (MISO). The session focused on the technical aspects and system integration possibilities of the National ID authentication service. Mr. Lao welcomed the proposal and acknowledged its potential, particularly for various offices under the Provincial Government of Northern Samar (PGNS). He emphasized that such integration would significantly enhance the delivery of public services by streamlining identification and verification procedures. Mr. Lao also committed to a Tier 2 onboarding level, signifying readiness to comply with system requirements and adopt the service across multiple PGNS offices.

To conclude the meeting, Registration Officer III Marife R. Molon joined the MISO and LTO meeting virtually. In her message, she emphasized the commitment among offices to embrace innovative solutions like the National ID authentication services in order to advance the quality and efficiency of public service delivery. She encouraged attending offices to take proactive steps in the integration process and to remain committed in enhancing government service for all citizens.

These meetings are aligned with the objectives of digital transformation and the continuous enhancement of public service delivery. This also contribute significantly to realizing the full potential and intended purpose of the National ID System by promoting its integration and practical use across various government and non-government institutions.
