The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Service Office VIII (PSA – RSSO 8) displayed the 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) Data Garden at Robinsons North Activity Area, Abucay, Tacloban City on 30 September 2019.
The 30th NSM Data Garden is an innovation of the usual interagency statistical exhibit. It showcased the different statistics generating information systems of nine (9) government agencies in the region in a more appealing manner.
This exhibit aimed to feature data innovations implemented among government agencies and bring statistics closer to the public.
The 30th NSM Data Garden is still up for viewing at the 3rd Floor, PSA – RSSO 8, Abucay Tacloban City until 28 October 2019.
The NSM is celebrated annually pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 647 for the purpose of promoting, enhancing and instilling nationwide awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics, and at the same time ensuring the support of the public in improving and enhancing the quality and standards of statistics in the country. This year’s NSM celebration is anchored on the theme, “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation.”
